On 18 February 2016, the AEB Migration Committee held its annual conference dedicated to the current issues of migration legislation application in the Russian Federation.
The event highlighted a whole range of issues: migration legislation novelties, issues related to work of patent-holders in Russia, contradictions between migration legislation and the Labour Code, allocation of quotas for employment of youth and people with disabilities, obtaining the Russian residence and citizenship as well as existing Court practices. Experts from such leading companies as EY, KPMG, BEITEN BURKHADRT, Mercedes Benz Russia, Visa Delight and Orrick have been speakers at the event.
Dmitry Demidenko, Head of the Department for organisation of visa and permits, FMS Russia, and Igor Dudnik, Head of the Department for labour migration issues, UFMS Russia, Moscow, have been distinguished guests of the event and provided answers and recommendations to the audience.
